Welcome to the Forgotten Asylum.

My name is Dr. Windsor.

Windsor is my given name, not my surname.  My parents died before I could ask them life's basic questions, let alone why they chose such a name for myself.  The few surviving relatives I had could only guess.  One of life's less significant mysteries, I suppose.

I was handed the baton to run this asylum over 30 years ago.  The staff refers to my title as the "head doctor" for its obvious pun.  Over the years, I have witnessed places and stories that were meant to be forgotten.  I don't want them to be forgotten any more.

Let me be clear that I can never disclose precise information associated with the asylum, such as its exact location.  While I will be forthcoming with any facts that I can, I refuse to jeopardize the safety and well-being of the patients still here.  Some of you may eventually guess the correct location, while others will only think they know.  I'm confident that as long as no one knows for sure, my patients will remain safe.

Here is a table of contents, in case you wish to jump to a particular event in the asylum's history.  I strongly suggest that you start at the beginning.
